Introduction
Maritrans Recycler, Incorporated (MRI) commits to deliver the most efficient environmental services to its clients for the treatment and recycling of electronics scrap, used solvent, busted fluorescent lamp, used batteries and other recoverable industrial wastes. To fulfil its commitment, MRI employs state of the art methods in processing our client’s wastes. Furthermore, MRI also conducts periodic evaluation and assessment of its facilities and workers to ensure top quality services are provided to our clients.
Legally, MRI complies with all statutory requirements required. More specifically, MRI conforms to the Republic Acts 6969, 8740, 9003 and 9275 which are among the main legal foundations governing the waste management industry.
MRI strongly believe that wastes generated from one industry can be reprocessed and become raw materials in another industry. MRI’s main aim is to maximise the usability of industrial waste by recycling and minimise the quantity of wastes disposed to landfills. Pollution is inevitable, but MRI is here to do its part in protecting the environment.

MARITRANS RECYLER, INC. (MRI) formerly known as MARITRANS Electronics Scrap Export (MESE) started in October 2000 and has now grown into a leading One-Stop Waste Management Provider.
MRI conforms to the strict environmental standards and policies set by both local and foreign authorities. Our numerous accreditations such as those with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as well as Laguna Lake Development Authority has also granted us the ability to treat and transport your waste without any legal complications.
MRI have also established a foothold in both Laguna and Cebu. Our branch in Laguna is located in the city of Calamba and has established service since May 2001. Our Cebu headquarters, on the other hand, is in Mandaue and began operations in October 2000.

Our “One-Stop Waste Management Service” is widely recognized by most Multinational Electronic Manufacturers (MEMs) and this is, in part, due to our waste management technology. Our state-of-the-art waste management technology is seen as highly efficient and environmentally friendly.
With our state-of-the-art waste management technology, we have the capabilities to recover precious metals and other recyclable materials from waste which helps to minimise land pollution. This is highly recognised not only in the Philippines but also globally.
Our technology also allows us the capacity to handle a large amount of waste. Just on the disposal of electronic scrap alone, we can handle up to 200 metric tons of waste per month. Customers can thus, expect their waste to be handled in a swift and efficient manner.
